The Ajman Department of Tourism, Culture and Media has launched a new incentive programme for Indian travel trade partners, reinforcing India’s role as a strategic source market for the emirate.
The ‘Ajman Partner’
Tourism Growth Incentive Programme will run from September 15 to December 1,
offering eligible travel agents performance-based incentives for confirmed
passenger bookings to Ajman.
The initiative aims to
encourage destination promotion, increase Ajman’s inclusion in UAE travel
itineraries and drive bookings during the campaign period.
The programme was
announced during the Department’s promotional roadshow across Mumbai, Chennai
and Hyderabad, which brought together travel agents, tour operators and other
tourism partners.
Through B2B meetings
and destination presentations, Ajman officials showcased the emirate’s tourism
offerings and explored opportunities for deeper commercial cooperation with
Indian partners.
The initiative forms
part of Ajman’s wider tourism ambitions under Ajman Vision 2030, which seeks to
position the emirate as an accessible and competitive destination.
The Department is
expanding its tourism proposition across leisure, nature, family tourism,
hospitality and business events while developing stronger relationships with
international travel trade partners.
By combining trade
incentives with direct engagement and destination promotion, the programme is
intended to strengthen awareness of Ajman among Indian travel professionals and
encourage its inclusion in more UAE travel programmes.
The Department said
continued collaboration with Indian tourism partners will be central to
expanding destination knowledge, stimulating demand and supporting sustained
visitor growth from the market.
Mahmood Alhashmi, Director General of the
Ajman Department of Tourism, Culture and Media, said: “India represents a key
market within Ajman’s strategy to diversify its international visitor base and strengthen
its global tourism presence. The strong engagement during our roadshow reflects
the potential we see in this market. Through the new incentive programme, we
are creating practical opportunities for our travel trade partners to expand
Ajman’s presence in their portfolios, generate bookings and contribute to
sustainable visitor growth.”
He added: “Our approach centres on
long-term partnerships, strong destination knowledge and shared value. By
working closely with travel agents, tour operators, and destination management
companies, we aim to develop tourism products that respond to the interests of
Indian travellers and translate growing awareness of Ajman into increased
visitation.”
Neeti Sharma, Director - Intrepid Marketing & Communications, said: “Indian travellers are increasingly seeking distinctive experiences across the UAE, and Ajman is well positioned to respond through its combination of culture, heritage, leisure, nature, family experiences, and hospitality. Our trade engagement focuses on equipping partners with the knowledge and commercial opportunities required to actively recommend Ajman. The incentive programme will provide additional momentum during an important travel period and support stronger destination consideration among Indian travellers.” -TradeArabia News Service
