Oriental Land and ORIENTAL LAND CRUISE have named their first Disney cruise ship to operate in Japan Disney Imagination, with the Tokyo International Cruise Terminal set to serve as its primary homeport.
The ship will bring Disney-themed entertainment and
experiences to guests of all ages, combining the company’s storytelling with
cruise travel.
Its stern will feature Ariel from Disney’s The Little
Mermaid, depicted alongside Sebastian painting the ship’s name.
Onboard attractions will include theatrical productions in a
venue seating more than 1,300 guests, outdoor deck shows, character
meet-and-greets and entertainment programmes across the vessel.
The ship will also feature around 30 food and beverage
venues, including three themed main dining restaurants, cafes and bars,
alongside exclusive merchandise shops. Dedicated children’s facilities and
adults-only relaxation areas will cater to different guest preferences.
Operating under the name Disney Cruise Line Japan, the
venture marks Oriental Land Group’s expansion beyond its theme parks and hotels
into cruise tourism, creating a new family entertainment offering in Japan. -TradeArabia News Service
